GREEN SPACES MISSION:

“CREATE A POSITIVE, SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY FOR ENTREPRENEURS AND REMOTE PROFESSIONALS TO THRIVE”

Sustainability. It’s a catchy phrase in today’s generation, but what does it actually mean?

At Green Spaces, we define sustainability by breaking it up into the following 3 pillars:

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

In our coworking space we’ve decided to take an educational approach to “green” practices in hopes that it does more than just make people recycle and compost in the workplace. We realize that it can sometimes be intimidating seeing a recycle bin for people who haven’t been properly educated on the subject. Our goal is to make it easy for people to learn these practices. Check out our Environmental Responsibility section of the blog to learn helpful tips on how to be more respectful of the environment you live in.

PERSONAL HEALTH / WELLNESS

As an entrepreneur or other highly motivated professional, one of your greatest assets is the brain. Just like an athlete needs to fuel and exercise their muscles, an entrepreneur must fuel and exercise their brain. We’ve put together some articles on how to optimally fuel your brain with nutritious food as well as some exercise routines that help increase productivity in our Health/Wellness section of the blog.

LIFE / WORK BALANCE

Contrary to popular belief, work is only a portion of life, not the other way around. Consistent 12 hr days, 80 hour weeks, no vacation; these things are all of the past. Sure, sometimes you have to crank out a long week for that upcoming deadline, but for the most part this is an unhealthy way of living. We believe that the majority of people aren’t Elon Musk and are much more productive during the workday when they make ample time to disconnect from “the grind.” Read more about how to balance your life with work in our Life/Work Balance section.
