Creating Dynamic Learning Environments with Permaculture

Do you work with children or teenagers and want to help them practice ecological literacy and systems thinking? Are you a teacher interested in strategies to augment sustainability education while actually reducing your total workload?

Join Michael Becker, originator of the Permaculture Classroom Project in Hood River, Oregon for a public talk and Q&A on his journey remaking his middle school classroom with permaculture design. This is the inaugural event of the Denver Permaculture Guild's weekend intensive for teachers and is highly recommended for educators looking for radical, and radically effective, solutions that go far beyond just a school garden.

Tickets are $10 for DPG members, and $15 - $25 sliding scale for the general public--none turned away for lack of funds. Tell all your teacher friends, and we'll see you there!
